Beautiful and spacious family-friendly restaurant in the Connacht Hotel. Enjoyed the food and the live music with people dancing to the music. I tried monk fish for the first time here, and it was delicious. The band started at around 10pm. You need to book a table in advance through the hotel website. There were plenty of parking spaces in the hotel front yard.

Our waiter Anthony was beyond spectacular. He attended to our every need, was super attentive, friendly and really made our dinner all that more special. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great night and is such a credit to hotel and restaurant, even going out of his way to ensure we could order our drinks of choice. We couldn't thank him enough

A lovely restaurant in The Connacht Hotel. Very nicely furnished with lots of various seating types and stylish decor and a large skylight making the room lovely and bright. We had lunch here on a quite Sunday but had to wait quite a while for a member of staff to greet us to be seated despite lots of staff coming a going between the kitchen and the restaurant.
There weren’t many gluten free vegetarian options for me. I had the goats cheese salad which was delicious and my friend had the fish and chips (again very good).
We waited ages to pay our bill as again staff were scarce.

We were hotel guests and had dinner there in the evening. It was very crowded, but we managed to get a table. Unfortunately, no waiter seemed to take responsibility for us, although the tables to our left and right were being served diligently. The receptionist eventually took our order. The drinks didn't arrive for another 30 minutes. Attempts to speak to the waiters who kept walking past us were unsuccessful. They were clearly using a "I can't see you, so you can't see me" tactic.

At least the pizzas were fresh and hot when they arrived.
